This little city of just over 50,000 residents is big in so many ways, especially in the arts, particularily bronze sculpture. Loveland Academy of Fine Arts is here, a place where artists of all ages learn their craft. The Benson Park Sculpture Garden houses an impressive collection, and you will find beautiful and interesting sculptures throughout Loveland. There is also a world renowned outdoor sculpture and art show each August, attended by 150,000 art lovers.
Any visitor to the thriving downtown area of Loveland will know that Loveland is big on charm. With 25 city parks, including North Lake Park on the lovely and centrally located Lake Loveland, and Boyd Lake State Park, a boater, angler and water skiers paradise just outside of town.
Loveland is known as The Gateway to the Rockies. Skiers are no more than 3 hours away from world class slopes; hikers and campers have hundreds of miles of trails to choose from in Rocky Mountain national park only 30 minutes away; anglers can cast their lies in countless, pristine mountain streams and nearby lakes.

The northern Colorado region has experienced a golf boom in recent years and there are literally dozens of courses within an hours drive and three city owned golf courses in Loveland. Tennis buffs, baseball players, and basketball players are also well represented in Loveland and will have no trouble finding a place to rally, swing in a batters cage, or shoot hoops.
